'star gardt's' is originally an acrylic painting on canvas - I created this piece to offer a glimpse into some of the elements of my vision loss. People with Stargardt's Disease (a genetic form of macular degeneration) can experience blind spots and floaters in their field of vision. Mine are quite colorful, and come in lots of different shapes and sizes. Depicting my disability in an artistic way has become a significant part of my emotional and spiritual healing.Thank you for witnessing me and this part of my journey <3
